The Ultimate Ears Vocal Reference Monitors are the first custom in ear monitors tuned specifically for singers with models for either male or female. This new set of custom in ear monitors filters out sound frequencies that fall outside the vocal spectrum, leaving the singer with a perfectly equalized mix that allows them to sing comfortably and reduce strain on their vocal chords during live performances and recording sessions. The Ultimate Ears Vocal Reference Monitors attenuate the lows and highs not crucial for vocal monitoring, so sound engineers no longer have to spend hours tuning and filtering out unwanted sounds and unnecessary frequencies.
The UE Vocal Reference Monitor's 3-way crossover has been designed to be precise and accurate. It contains the most components of any UE crossover and since they are focusing on a single "instrument" it has the most narrow frequency response (tailored to voice) of any UE IEM. The use of custom wound inductors leads the way in the industry in developing accurate and purpose-built band-pass filters so that the extremely important mid-range frequencies are precisely tuned for the job at hand.
For the Ultimate Ears Vocal Reference you will need to have ear impressions, these will need to be made by an audiologist and are not included in the price.
